Paul Calhoun, F. William Harder Professor of Business Administration, discussed the issues raised in the movie Inside Job and the future of Wall Street business in a conversation that followed the Feb. 6 screening of the film at the Saratoga Film Forum.
Justin Sipher, chief technology officer, has been invited to join the board of NYSERNet, a private not-for-profit corporation created to foster science and education in New York State. Its mission is to advance network technology and related applications to satisfy needs common to the institutions comprising New York State's research and education community, providing a forum for exploration of the opportunities and challenges these innovations present. Founded in 1985, NYSERNet's members include New York State's leading universities, colleges, museums, healthcare facilities, primary and secondary schools, and research institutions. NYSERNet's Board of Directors is composed of CIOs and other senior personnel drawn from and representing New York's leading research universities and institutions.

The authorsexplores the integration of website advertising with traditional forms of advertising.
Bernie Possidente, professor of biology, is co-author with S. Breitbart and A. Hildebrandt of "Assessing Effects of Sex, Mating Status and a White-Eye Mutation in a Co-isogenic background, on Circadian Locomotor Activity in Drosophila melanogaster," accepted for publication by Drosophila Information Service,Vol. 94,in press.

Sandy Baum, professor emerita of economics, is co-author with Michael McPherson of "Relieving the Tensions of Selective College Admissions: No Pain, No Gain," published Feb. 4 in The Chronicle of Higher Education.
Sumita Pahwa, lecturer in government, was a source of "Man from Egypt reflects on unrest" published Feb. 1 in The Post-Star. The story included comments from a number of local people with ties to Egypt.
