The exterior amphitheater behind the Surrey Williamson Inn on North Broadway will be the location for a special dance anniversary this week.

Skidmore's dance students will perform in a program titled Isadora Duncan: The Ancient and Eternal Ideal in Art, at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30, as part of the 35th anniversary celebration of the Isadora Duncan International Institute Dancers. Admission is free. Rain location is the Skidmore Dance Theater.

Jeanne Bresciani '72, artistic director of the Isadora Duncan International Institute, and Mary DiSanto-Rose, associate professor of dance at Skidmore, will direct the performance. They will be joined by Skidmore dance students and guest artist Michiyo Sato from Japan, as well as the Isadora Duncan International Institute Dancers.

Made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts, the performances are part of the Arts Education Community-Based Learning Program for Isadora Duncan: Embodied Wisdom.
