Catherine J. Golden, professor of English, has two publications: "You Need to Get Your Head Examined: The Unchanging Portrait of Queen Victoria on Nineteenth-Century British Postage Stamps" appears in The Winton M. Blount Postal History Symposia Select Papers, 2010–2011, edited by Thomas Lera and published by the Smithsonian Institution. The publication is also available online as a .pdf and can be downloaded free.

In addition, she published a review of Reading Victorian Illustration, 1855-1875: Spoils of the Lumber Room (2012)edited by Paul Goldman and Simon Cooke, for Review 19. The online review appears in New Books Online 19

Deb Loffredo, director, Career Development Center, is a member of the 26th class of Leadership Saratoga, a program on civic engagement sponsored by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.

Linda Simon, professor of English, presented a paper titled '"Magic Inexhaustible': Transcendent performers and modernist art," Oct. 19 at the Modernist Studies Association conference, whose theme was Modernism and the Spectacle.
