New novel by Mason Stokes

Saving Julian by Mason Stokes

English Department Chair Mason Stokes is the author of a new book titled Saving Julian (Wilde City Press, 2014).

Stokes has written a darkly comic story about “the sad strange world of the ex-gay ministry,” according to the publisher’s web site.  Author Edmund White called the novel “a vey humane book. Saving Julian is a beautifully constructed and paced novel, which explores the misguided world of the ex-gay without ever being condescending.”

The Kindle edition of the book was released during the holiday season and the paperback edition is now available.
