"If this melanin could speak ... This is our story" is the title of this year's Ujima fashion show, Saturday, March 25, at 6 p.m. in the Williamson Sport's Center's intramural gym. Its theme is how people of African and Caribbean descent have always drawn on perseverance from within despite the hardships they faced. The show's co-director Jonathan Ogunleye '17 says the fashions will reflect aspects of the black experience such as spiritualism, pop identity, liberation, and excellence. [read more]

He and fellow Ujima members are pleased to have the large space of the intramural gym for this year's show. All are welcome, and admission is free.
