Writers reading
Nearly every evening in July, acclaimed poets, novelists, or other writers will present readings at Skidmore. The events—at 7 p.m. in Davis Auditorium—are the free and public offerings of the Skidmore-hosted New York State Writers Institute, which brings together aspiring and accomplished writers for two- or four-week intensive campus workshops.
