Precollege preview
Skidmore’s summer precollege program welcomed more than 60 high school students from all over. They took college-level courses taught by Skidmore faculty, experienced residential community life, and got a big leg up on their college careers. Among their outings was a visit to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for a performance by the New York City Ballet. (Photos by Eric Jenks ’08)

part of Saratoga’s Spa State Park, just 4 miles from campus.
Lawn seating just outside the amphitheater is always a popular option,
especially for big events like jazz festivals and Grateful Dead revivals.
