The show runs from Sept. 7 through Oct. 8; hours and details here. An opening reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 7, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A talk with all four artists is slated for Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 5 p.m. All Schick programs are free and open to the public.

New faculty member Michael Bonadio creates whimsical but finely crafted works that explore narratives both personal and universal. He has exhibited at the juried Sloss Furnaces contemporary cast-iron show in Birmingham, Ala., and many other venues.

Sangwook Lee explores the interplay of Asian and American cultural identities through fiber art and installations. A earned a Fulbright grant to research traditional Korean and Japanese textiles. His exhibitions include a 2017 solo show in the Netherlands and participation in the 2014 International Fiber Art Biennale in China.

For Trish Lyell, investigating the interaction of mark, line, and shape is a process motivated by questions rather than answers—questions that become “the bones on which the body of the drawing builds.” Her drawings have been shown at regional and national venues, including the Lake George Arts Project and Hera Gallery in Providence, R.I.

Paul Sattler’s paintings reflect his passion for light, space, and color. Aspects of his own life and an interest in art history provide him with a framework for invention. He has shown his work extensively, including solo exhibitions at Alpha Gallery in Boston and Marist College Art Gallery in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
