Skidmore seniors look back

May 17, 2018

2014. The year Ellen Degeneres took an epic selfie at the Oscars and the year we doused ourselves in ice for ALS, wondered what Gwyneth meant by “conscious uncoupling,” and all tuned in to watch the end of How I Met Your Mother.

At Skidmore, 2014 was the year MDOCS was launched and the ribbon was cut on our solar array. It was a year of committing to sustainability as well as international and diversity initiatives. And, the year we welcomed a new group of students to Skidmore College: the Class of 2018.

From feeling confused and worried, to growing and transforming, to preparing for graduation with bittersweet contemplation and hope—hear a few members of this class share how their lives have changed from 2014 to 2018.
