Christopher Mann

Christopher Mann, assistant professor of political science, was named as one of the top 20 reviewers for the professional journal Political Research Quarterly. The accolade, citing an "unusual combination of promptness, thoroughness, and insight," was announced at the Western Political Science Association's annual meeting in San Diego. Mann was the only faculty member on the list from a liberal arts college.

Gove Effinger, professor emeritus of mathematics, has co-edited Contemporary Developments in Finite Fields and Applications, a collection of articles from lectures presented at the 12th International Conference on Finite Fields and Their Applications ("Fq12") at Skidmore in July.

Sara Lagalwar

Sara Lagalwar, assistant professor of neuroscience, co-authored a manuscript titled "Stabilization and degradation mechanisms of cytoplasmic ataxin-1" in the Journal of Experimental Neuroscience with Mayumi Kohiyama '15. The manuscript will be included in the supplemental issue Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration, of which Lagalwar serves as the lead editor.
