Jeffrey O. Segrave

Jeffrey O. Segrave, professor of health and exercise sciences, had an article published in the May 17 Times Union article titled "Embattled Olympics need to find a permanent home," in which he argues that siting the games in permanent facilities in five continents "would provide historical continuity, allow the centers to keep up state-of-the-art facilities, maximize security, ensure ongoing facility use, insulate the games from disruptive international politics, and protect cities from private profiteering at taxpayer expense."
