Cecilia Aldarondo, assistant professor of English, had an opinion piece published June 23 on the website Poz titled "‘Sanctuary’ After Pulse: We Cannot Let the Orlando Shooter Win." Aldarondo is the creator of the the documentary film Memories of a Penitent Heart.

Mary Zeiss Stange, professor emerita of gender and religious studies, was quoted in a June 17 Daily Gazette story titled "Niskayuna 'breastaurant' Tilted Kilt has plenty of fans and detractors."
