Skidmore Spotlight: Annelise Kelly

Annelise Kelly is the online content assistant for the Tang Teaching Museum at Skidmore College.

Kelly joined Skidmore in 2015 following freelance work in web design and promotions for small business clients. It was the opportunity to support the Tang’s mission as an interdisciplinary teaching museum that ultimately drew her to Skidmore.

“Seeing the museum utilized in various ways by folks from across campus and the community is inspiring,” Kelly said. “Contemporary art can serve as a catalyst for important dialogue, and I love being able to share that with a wider audience through the web and social media.”

Kelly said the chance to continuously learn new things, to be constantly surrounded by art and to directly interact with students are among her favorite aspects of working at Skidmore.

When not at work, Kelly enjoys staying active in the local community, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
