David Domozych

David Domozych, professor of biology, co-authored a paper titled "Vacuolar Protein Sorting 26C encodes an evolutionarily conserved large retromer subunit in eukaryotes that is important for root hair growth in Arabidopsis thaliana" in The Plant Journal, April 2018. The project delves into the molecular architecture of the secretory apparatus of plant cells and represents a the culmination of a collaborative research project with researchers at the University of Vermont.

Amber Wiley, assistant professor of American studies, consulted on the museum exhibition Community Policing in the Nation's Capital: The Pilot District Project, 1968–1973 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Wiley gave a talk titled "The People of the Pilot District Project" April 3 at the museum. An interview with Wiley on the project is available here. Her profile of Latinx community activist Carlos Rosario will be published in the Spring 2018 issue of the journal Washington History. Also in April, Wiley sat on a panel at the University of Virginia-Charlottesville's School of Architecture titled "Landscape Perspective for Future Publics."
