Skidmore Spotlight: Susan Harrington

Susan Harrington works as an environmental service technician for the custodial operations department of facilities services.

Harrington said she joined Skidmore seven years ago because she saw an opportunity to have a lasting career here. 

On her time at Skidmore, Harrington said, “It’s been a pleasure meeting wonderful people and making new friends. Out of all the places I’ve worked, this has been the most interesting and memorable place. I very much enjoy working here.” 

Harrington said she has worked in several buildings on campus, but her favorite is the Surrey-Williamson Inn. “The building’s history, surrounding nature and the wonderful people who stay and visit there make every day enjoyable,” she said. 

When not at Skidmore, Harrington said she enjoys spending time with her family, children, animals, and friends.
