Skidmore Spotlight: Eleanor Williams

Eleanor Williams works as a post office clerk, trainer and facilitator at the Skidmore post office in Case Center.

Williams just celebrated her 35th anniversary at Skidmore. First working in dining services, she transferred to her current position in 2003.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Skidmore, Williams said it’s being a “friendly face” to students and sharing the kindness “they may have needed that day.”

Williams said one of her favorite Skidmore events is Reunion. She said, “It’s a great feeling when a student comes back to Skidmore for a visit and still remembers you.” She also enjoys Polo by Twilight.

When not at Skidmore, Williams spends her time enjoying the beauty and wildlife in the Adirondacks with her family.
