Two scholarly articles by Kristofer Covey, visiting assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, have been accepted for publication. The article “Methane Emissions from Tree Stems: A New Frontier in the Global Carbon Cycle” will be published in the journal New Phytologist. “Methane Production and Emissions in Trees and Forests" will appear as an invited Tansley Review in the same publication.

Jennifer Mueller, assistant professor of sociology and director of the Intergroup Relations Program, discussed “How Does it Feel to be the Solution? Challenges and Opportunities for Owning Responsibility in Racial Justice Work” at Russell Sage College.

Aaron Pedinotti, visiting assistant professor in the Media and Film Studies Program,
was quoted in a column by Times Union Editor Rex Smith inspired by Smith’s visit to Skidmore.
Ron Seyb, associate dean of the faculty and Joseph C. Palamountain Jr. Chair in Government, spoke to WNYT Channel 13 about the midterm elections. The channel also interviewed him following the elections.
