Aurelia Ball, associate professor and chair of chemistry, published "RNA polymerase II CTD Ser5 phosphorylation induces competing effects of expansion and compaction" with student coauthors Will Barr '24, Kian Sethi '26, Ray East '23, and Oluebube Onwuzulu '24 in Biophysical Journal. It will be included in an upcoming special issue in honor of Martin Karplus.
