Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, associate professor of political science, published "Cricket Diplomacy: India Playing the Long Game in Afghanistan" with Avik Nandy '24 in Asia Times. She also moderated a town hall with U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko in Ballston Spa.

Joseph Cermatori, associate professor of English and director of the Periclean Honors Forum, attended this year’s Renaissance Society of America conference, where he served as chair and respondent for a panel titled “Remediations of the Baroque in the Contemporary Americas.”

Stephen Ives, professor and chair of health and human physiological sciences, published "The simplified method for quantifying metabolic syndrome (siMS) score reflects an increased cardiometabolic burden: adiposity, hemodynamics, and HRV findings in young adults" in the Journal of Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders. This work was published in collaboration with JIllian Lang '24, Elena Shostak '24, William Quinn '25, and Valerie Chervinskaya '26.

Rodrigo Schneider, associate professor of economics, co-authored “Racial self-classification, group consciousness, and public employment representation,” in the Journal of Development Economics. The study examines how Brazil’s high level of racial miscegenation and resulting diversity of skin tones relate to election outcomes and public employment.

Christopher Seaton, professor of mathematics, co-authored "A symmetric function approach to polynomial regression," in Aequationes mathematicae.
