The Living Room
Like any home, the Surrey’s Living Room is the heart of the inn and one of our most popular spaces for events. Connected to both the South Porch and the Dining Room, it’s often combined with other spaces to allow for mixing and mingling throughout your event.
Features: Antique furniture, fireplace, flexible seating and AV capabilities.
Great for: Seated events for up to 48 guests, standing events (includes other spaces) for up to 100.

The Dining Room
As a century-old inn, our Dining Room has hosted all kinds of celebrations and events. We recommend using the space in combination with the North Porch, Patio, Living Room or the entire inn.
Features: Antique tables, fireplace, views of the gardens and patio
Great for: Seated meals for up to 24 guests or food stations for guests to grab a bite and roam into other corners of the inn.

The North Porch
The Surrey’s North Porch is a popular space for guests looking for a cheery, intimate setting with a full dose of natural light and garden views. Heated year-round, the North Porch can set a lovely tone no matter the season.
Features: Antique stamped tin ceiling, three sides of floor-to-ceiling windows, easy access to the Dining Room, Porch and our backyard and gardens.
Great for: Bridal showers, baby showers and small group meetings and trainings for up to 30 guests.

The South Porch
This small but cozy indoor porch is a perfect place for a bar, lounge, photobooth or any extras you may want for your warm weather event. Capacity of the South Porch alone is 25.
Features: Three sides of floor-to-ceiling windows and easy access to the Living Room and Porch.
Great for: A special add-on room for something creative or private during your warm weather event.

Strolling along the Patio is like strolling back in time. Let your guests mingle outdoors while taking in the picturesque views of our gardens as they enjoy the main event inside the Dining Room or Living Room.
Features: Brick-paved walkways, garden benches and access to the entire back yard and gardens.
Great for: Cocktail parties and mixers
Beautifully restored and maintained, the Skidmore Memorial Gardens are curated to create the perfect atmosphere for leisurely strolls, formal ceremonies and gorgeous photo opportunities.
Features: Romanesque statues and columns, perfect photo nooks and charming floral displays.
Great for: Photos, small ceremonies and casual extensions of your indoor events.
