Why did you decide to transfer to Skidmore?
I believed that Skidmore was the perfect fit because of its reputation as a college that doesn’t stand for the ordinary. I really enjoy its exciting courses such as Applied Econometrics, Citizen Studentship and Public Finance, which allow me to explore my intellectual curiosities in an invigorating academic environment.

What does Skidmore offer you that your previous college did not?
Skidmore has exposed me to an unparalleled education, especially its approach to the liberal arts, with its emphasis on core skill-building in critical thinking, quantitative reasoning and thinking globally. The Skidmore culture stimulates discussion and intellectual interaction between students, professors and the community.

What advice do you have for others considering transferring to Skidmore?
Make the best out of every opportunity that comes your way because your time is now!

Are you glad you transferred?
Yes, but I wouldn’t say that I disliked my time at the previous institution. As an international student, I feel that Skidmore is welcoming and accepting of people with different identities, be it first-generation college students or people who speak a different first language than English.

What's the best part of Skidmore so far?
Skidmore is a place where I can pursue my academic interests and be a part of fun traditions: Wafflefest, Fun Day, the Big Green Scream and celebrating the Chowderfest in downtown Saratoga means connecting with the Skidmore family — and I am happy to be a part of it.
 
What are your future hopes/plans?
I plan to work in the financial services sector after graduation.
