President Conner expresses gratitude to all students, staff, and faculty

December 15, 2021

Dear Skidmore Community,

Here we stand at the end of what has been another challenging but extraordinary fall semester. I continue to be in awe of all we have accomplished together and all that we have to look forward to in the future. I am grateful for, and indeed proud of, our collective efforts this semester as we have continued to adapt and learn together during the pandemic. With a full heart, I wish you all an enjoyable, restorative winter holiday.

When we return for the spring semester, we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our entire community, while supporting meaningful and engaging in-person opportunities and experiences. We will continue to review and examine our COVID-19 policies to make sure we’re able to achieve these ambitious goals. More information about the health and safety protocols for next semester will be forthcoming in the new year. In the meantime, we are confident that our booster requirement for all students, faculty, and staff will put our campus in the best possible position for the coming term.

Thank you for everything you do for, and mean to, our Skidmore community. Best wishes for a wonderful and restful break and we’ll see you in January!

Sincerely,
Marc C. Conner
President
