Horizon Media is seeking Summer 2019 interns.  Voted one of the best places to work by Advertising Age, LA Business Journal and Crain’s New York, the company's paid summer internship program connects sophomores, juniors, and seniors with leaders in advertising and marketing.  Students learn about all aspects of media, while also engaging in fun activities along the way-- all of which contributes to Horizon Media's recognition as having one of the best internship programs in the industy.

The company was connected to Skidmore's Career Development Center by Skidmore alumnus and Career Advisor, Tyler Crowe '18, who recently accepted a position with the company as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.  Tyler works out of the company's New York City office.

“My experience at Horizon Media has been fulfilling," said Tyler, who was a  Psychology and Management & Business major at Skidmore. "The media is such a powerful tool in 2018 and one of the driving forces in our everyday lives. Everyday I have the opportunity to learn and grow my knowledge of the industry, while working beside some of the greatest minds in the country at Horizon Media Inc. “

On Wednesday, December 12, the CDC is hosting a virtual information session for students wanting to learn more about summer internships with Horizon Media.  The session will be facilitated by Shayna Walker, Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Campus Recruiting. 

Internship categories range from direct marketing and social media to sports and entertainment, performance media (SEO, SEM, Ad Operations), IT, Data Analytics, and more. 

Applications for 2019 will go live on December 17th, 2018 and the application deadline is January 11th, 2019.   To register for the information session, click here.
