To accept the award, complete and return the Certification and Reply Sheet to our office by May 1, 2008. If you have not already done so, please send copies of the 2008 Federal Income Tax returns (with all schedules filed and copies of original W-2's) for both you and your parents.The budget items listed were used to determine the total cost of attendance for the 2009-2010 academic year. Please note that some of these items are not billable charges that you will receive from the Bursar's Office. However, the non-billed items are included to represent a realistic view of all expenses a typical student will incur. The parental and student contributions were determined by a review of the application materials you submitted.
Important: The student contribution, work-study job allotment, and student loan amounts will generally increase each year after the initial year. Other circumstances which may affect award amounts include filing a late financial aid application, increased costs, changes in family income and/or asset levels, and the number of siblings enrolled in undergraduate programs. When a sibling fails to enroll as reported on the aid application, Skidmore grant aid will be reduced. You must continue to meet Skidmore's standards for satisfactory academic progress to retain and continue receiving financial aid.
