Free Speech on Campus: Keynote
Monday, October 26

A time for students, faculty, and staff to explore the relationship between teaching, learning, and work on campus, and free expression online.

 
FREE SPEECH ON CAMPUS: FACULTY & STAFF WORKSHOP

The discussion will include the exploration of opportunities and challenges related to free expression and work. 

 
FILM SCREENING - THE SOCIAL DILEMMA

Explores the dangerous human impact of social networking, with tech experts sounding the alarm on their own creations.

An Anti-hacking Anti-doxing Workshop

 
Film Discussion
Thursday, October 29
10 am or 3 pm

Facilitated group conversations where participants will discuss the film The Social Dilemma and make suggestions for Skidmore’s online speech policies.  

 
PEN AMERICA + HOLLABACK!
Friday, October 30

In this interactive training, we’ll give you the tools you need to intervene safely and effectively in online abuse using Hollaback!’s 5D’s of bystander intervention.
