Senior Vice President and General Manager, Fab 8, GlobalFoundries
With a career that has spanned engineering, management, and global operational executive leadership for several leading technology companies, Thomas Caulfield now directs operations and development at Fab 8 in Malta, GlobalFoundries’ leading-edge 300mm semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility. Prior to joining GlobalFoundries in 2014, he served as president and COO at Soraa, the world’s leading developer of GaN on GaNTM (gallium nitride on gallium nitride) solid-state lighting technology. His experience includes 17 years with IBM, where he served in a variety of senior leadership roles, including vice president of its 300mm semiconductor operations in East Fishkill, N.Y.

Molly Dyson

Molly Dyson is a licensed social worker, life coach, and commercial and residential real estate developer. She serves as an active board member for Dyson Kissner-Moran, a private investment firm, and the Dyson Foundation, a nonprofit organization that has supported myriad community organizations and social causes for decades in New York’s mid-Hudson region. Through her work with the Dyson Foundation, Molly seeks to improve the quality of life in the region, strengthen resources available to economically disadvantaged individuals and families, and to strengthen the nonprofit sector.

Ken Freirich ’90

As a seasoned entrepreneur and executive, Ken Freirich has successfully started, built, operated and grown a variety of world-class organizations. Since 2006 he has been president of Health Monitor Network, the largest patient education publishing and technology platform in the U.S., reaching more than 200,000 physician offices and tens of millions of patients.

Previously Freirich was the founder and CEO of TransLocal Health Corp., a leading multimedia health information provider to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Prior to that venture, he was President of InteliHealth, initially a joint venture between Aetna U.S. Healthcare and Johns Hopkins, a leading consumer and professional health information, technology and commerce provider. Freirich also was an executive with Thomson/Medical Economics and founder and publisher of The Collegian Magazine. He plays drums in a rock and roll band called MedROCK (www.medrockband.com) and is an active international philanthropist.

Founding Magrino in 1992 after a nine-year career at Crown Publishing, Susan Magrino runs what is regarded today as one of the nation’s premier award-winning public relations firms with a staff of 50 publicists. Clients include some of the world’s leading consumer brands, including Martha Stewart, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad hotel brands, Baccarat, William Grant & Sons, Moët Hennessy, Farrow & Ball, The James Beard Awards, Whispering Angel, Related Companies, among many others. Her career highlights include: the re-launch of Miami Beach’s historic Fontainebleau Hotel and New York’s Plaza Hotel; the 75th anniversary of the Apollo Theater, the 40th and 50th anniversaries of the Four Seasons restaurant; Time magazine’s 75th Anniversary at Radio City Music Hall, and the launch of O, The Oprah Magazine. Magrino resides in Manhattan and is also a member of the Glass House Advisory Board, which is part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in New Canaan, Conn., where she also has a home.

Mireya Manigault has 20 years of experience serving large diversified financial services organizations in the areas of marketing, operations, and compliance, with a focus on risk management enterprise-wide and across the entire customer lifecycle. She is an innovation and brand technologist who has, for ten years, helped large banking organizations, nonprofits, and startups define their strategic goals and optimize their infrastructure and operational processes in line with their goals. She is also an angel investor affiliated with 37 Angels, a community of women angel investors focused on early-stage investment education.

Eric Rongley '89

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bleum Inc.
With two decades of experience in building high-performance software centers in both India and China, Eric Rongley founded Bleum in 2001. Today it’s one of China’s leading outsourcing providers to American and European companies. Prior to founding Bleum, he established and ran the Navion Software Development Company for Capital One Financial in Shanghai. Before his career led him to China, he was the general manager for International Voice Register’s software development center in India. He currently serves as the chair of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, Shanghai, and won the member of the year award in this 85,000-person global organization in 2013. Previously he served as chair of the IT and ethics committees of the American Chamber of Commerce in China and served on the Board of Directors of the Shanghai Opera.

Rich Wartel ’91
President and Founder, Two Labs Marketing
With more than 100 product launches in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Rich Wartel has made a national reputation in product strategy, life-cycle management, sales, and marketing. Prior to starting Two Labs in 2003, he served as vice president of business development for Cardinal Health Pharmaceutical Distribution, focused on brand and generic pharmaceutical launches. Before joining Cardinal, he joined several partners in developing and commercializing the home health care superstore concept with their company American Health Superstore, which they sold in 1997.

Ceci Zak

Ceci Zak has managed the DAS’ healthcare companies since 2013, where she is responsible for developing and steering the global strategic and operational opportunities for HealthCare within the Omnicom group. Her role encompasses enhancing business processes, streamlining talent development, assessing capability needs, and ensuring technology enablement, while creating value-based opportunities for clients. Previously, she served as vice president of commercial capabilities at Sanofi, focusing on business innovation, digital excellence, and learning and development. She has been recognized as an “Emerging Leader for the Healthcare Industry” by Pharmaceutical Executive and named one of the “100 Most Inspiring People in Healthcare” by PharmaVoice.
