Faculty

The core faculty using the biomolecular sciences spaces in the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences are drawn from the Biology and Chemistry Departments and the Neuroscience Program. Collectively, we have expertise in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, molecular neurobiology, microbiology, structural biology, developmental biology of plants and animals, genomics, molecular genetics, molecular evolution, molecular biophysics, and gene expression. We work with different organismal models, including bacteria, yeast, plants, animals, and cell cultures. Our laboratories involve the study and manipulation of key biological macromolecules, including DNA, RNA, proteins, and carbohydrates. If you are interested in courses, graduate programs, research, and careers in the biomolecular sciences, please feel free to reach out to us.
