Self-Determined Majors

The Media and Film Studies minor can serve as a foundation for a self-determined major in media or film.   Students who wish to create such a major work closely with their academic advisor and the Director of the Media and Film Studies minor.  Careful planning is imperative! It usually begins in the Spring Term of the sophomore year and concludes with the approval of a course of study by  the Self-Determined Major Committee in the Fall Term.
