Skidmore College’s Tang Teaching Museum hosts Senior Thesis Art Exhibition 2025

The tradition continues as Skidmore College’s annual Senior Thesis Art Exhibition brings together 41 senior studio art majors to display their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore College.

The exhibition includes art from various studio art disciplines taught by the Skidmore Art Department, including ceramics, communication design, drawing, painting, digital media, fiber arts, jewelry and metals, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. The Department of Art is sponsoring the exhibition in collaboration with the Tang Teaching Museum

An opening reception is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 9. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. The exhibition will run from Thursday, May 8, through Saturday, May 17, at the Tang Teaching Museum. 

Student exhibitors include: Kat Baker, Caroline Blum, Cecily Carter, Olive Collinson, Allison Conwell, Lucy Daigle, Rowan DeWitt, Phie Deal, Jack Denham, Callie Derechin, Olivia Durkin, Ethan Friedberg, Renee Fritschel, Faith Gaglia, Kareena Gandhi, Blair Goldstein, Jae Hymer, Sky Jasienowski, Emma Jones, Lily Josephs, Sophie Levy, Kian Mehran Lodge, Ezra Merleaux, Tess Miller, Elise Milner, Brenna O’Brien, Elle Oestreich, Martina Phelan, Ria Puga Gorry, Sylvia Rhodes, Olivia Salim, David Salinas, Gavin Schiavi, Cassie Stewart, Samuel Tejeda, Ava Tesoriero, Purl Twigg-Smith, Elizabeth Wood, Connor Yackel, Alice Yi, and Ainsley Yorns. 

The exhibition can be viewed at the Tang Teaching Museum during the following hours:

  • Thursday, May 8: noon to 9 p.m.  
  • Friday, May 9: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.  
  • Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11: noon to 5 p.m.   
  • Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 12-14: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  
  • Thursday, May 15: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.   
  • Friday, May 16: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  
  • Saturday, May 17: noon to 6 p.m.
