Robert Boyers, professor of English, is the author of the following recent articles: "The Privilege Predicament" in the The American Scholar, Spring 2018; "Thinking & Not Thinking About the Ways of the Will" in Raritan, Spring 2018; "Policing Disability" in The American Interest, March–April 2018; and "On Vulgarity" in Hedgehog Review, Fall 2018.

Jeromy McFarren, senior program coordinator in the Office of the Dean of Special Programs, has written a youth mystery novel titled October Jones: The Lightning Pines Mystery (Wild Dreams Publishing, 2017).

Bernard Possidente

Bernard Possidente, professor of biology, co-authored an article titled "The Drosophila apterous56f mutation impairs circadian locomotor activity" published in the journal Biological Rhythm Research. Among Possidente's co-authors were Skidmore senior Alexandra Fall '18 and alumni Nathan Canada '17, Mayumi Kohiyama '15 and Lisa Leung '17.

Paul Arciero

Paul Arciero, professor of health and human physiological sciences, was quoted in a March 20 Self article titled "The Myth of the Fat-Burning Zone." Arciero, director of Skidmore's Human Nutrition and Metabolism Laboratory, discussed the complex metabolism of carbohydrates and fat during exercise.

David Karp

David Karp, professor of sociology, was quoted in a March 19 Men's Health article titled "This Is How to Apologize for Sexual Misconduct." Karp is director of Skidmore's Project on Restorative Justice.
