Katie Hauser, associate professor and Charlotte Lamson Clarke '53 Chair in Art History, published "On (Not) Seeing Red: Balthus, Menstruation, and the Limits of Vision," in Visual Resources.
Heather Hurst, professor of anthropology and Courtney and Steven Ross Chair in Interdisciplinary Studies, delivered lectures at Yale University’s Ancient Latin America series, Columbia University, and the Boundary End Archaeology Research Center. Her talks focused on mural paintings and recent archaeological research at San Bartolo-Xultun, Guatemala.
Bernard Possidente, professor of biology and Susan Kettering Williamson '59 Chair in Neuroscience, published "Circadian Chronotype Distribution among Young Adults in Yemen" in the journal Chronobiology International. The article is based on research conducted by Hamzah Ahmed ’23 and Alexander Lewis ’23.
Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor for education studies, Adam Tinkle, associate professor of media and film studies and director of MDOCS, and Krista Senatore ’99 co-presented a workshop at the Albany Film Festival entitled "Your film and the K-12 classroom: Lessons on partnership and curriculum development with the TWO TREES team."
Lena Retamoso Urbano, visiting assistant professor of Spanish, was invited to serve as the special guest poet at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She delivered a poetry reading as part of “Sweet Poetry,” a multilingual event hosted by the Department of Spanish, Latin American, and Bilingual Studies.
