2020 Juried Skidmore Student Exhibition

February 4 – March 3, 2020
Opening reception: Tuesday, February 4, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Juror: Kenny Rivero

The Schick Art Gallery is pleased to present the 2020 Juried Skidmore Student Exhibition, an exhibit of works in all media celebrating the imagination and skill of Skidmore College art students.

Each year, students submit works in a range of materials, including prints, photographs, sculpture, graphic design, painting, drawing, animation, fibers, jewelry, and ceramics. A juror unaffiliated with the Art Department selects roughly 75 works from an average of 250 submissions for inclusion in the exhibit. The juror also selects works to receive special commendation; awards totaling over $1,000 are funded through donations by friends of the gallery, campus organizations, and community benefactors, including the Adirondack Trust Co., Soave Faire Art Supply, and Allerdice Building Supply.
