Junior Admissions Workshop

Skidmore’s annual Junior Admissions Workshop for high school juniors will take the form of two virtual, recorded sessions this month. These sessions will provide valuable insights to make the college search more understandable and achievable. To register and view the recorded workshops, visit the JAWS website.  

Pre-College Program

Is your high school student ready for college-level learning? A virtual Pre-College course is an opportunity to explore a new area of study while earning college credit. Applications are now open for the summer program. Classes run July 5 through Aug. 6. Sign up here to receive more information

Ensemble Connect

At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, join Ensemble Connect for an immersive online event — in collaboration with contemporary dance artist Wendell Gray II and Director Isabella LoRusso — that explores music’s power to physically and emotionally “move” people.

Athletics DEI initiative

Skidmore’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, which includes representatives of every team, has released a statement about its commitment to building a culture of respect and trust within the Athletic Department and the Skidmore community at large. 


Explore the Tang’s new publication, Culture As Catalyst. Each chapter will be free to download every other week through May. Take part in monthly crochet workshops and weekly drop-ins to make crochet corals as part of the Saratoga Springs Satellite Reef project. 

Summer Experience Fund

Each year, more than 100 Skidmore students receive Summer Experience Fund (SEF) grants to gain valuable experience through unpaid summer opportunities. If your organization has an unpaid summer internship opportunity to share, contact Pam Fisher in the Career Development Center. Donations to SEF can be made here.
