Skidmore's renowned summer institutes, led by the top artists and scholars in their fields, will be offered online this summer. Applications are now being accepted for the Summer Theater Workshop with SITI Company (June 12-July 1) and the New York State Summer Writers Institute (June 27-July 22).

Skidmore offers a variety of programs for children of all ages during the summer months. Registrations are now being accepted for Camp Northwoods (Skidmore’s day camp for children in grades 1 through 8) and a wide array of sports camps led by our award-winning coaching staff.

Summer Experience Fund recipients

Evan Little ’22

In an essay, Evan Little ’22 shares his experiences as the inaugural Charina Endowment Fund Endowed Intern at the Tang. The Museum’s acclaimed Dunkerley Dialogue series continues Wednesday, March 30, at 6 p.m. with an in-person conversation between artist Margaret Wertheim, whose work is on view in “Radical Fiber: Threads Connecting Art and Science,” and Skidmore Associate Professor of Geosciences Amy Frappier.

Filene Recital Hall in Arthur Zankel Music Center

Arthur Zankel Music Center welcomes back in-person audiences. Pianist Young Kim, a visiting senior artist-in-residence, and six of her studio students will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, April 1. As part of the Filene Anniversary Concert Series, the Alash Ensemble, a trio of master throat singers from Tuva in central Asia, will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3. The Ying Quartet will perform classical music at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 9.
