Information for faculty and staff
Skidmore has returned to a fully in-person, residential learning experience on campus while continuing to prioritize our community’s health and safety.
Vaccination policy updated to include booster requirement
To prevent or significantly reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 at Skidmore College and protect all members of the College community from infection, all new and current faculty and staff were required to be fully vaccinated by Sept. 3, 2021, unless exempted from this requirement as a reasonable accommodation of a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
At the end of the fall 2021 semester, Skidmore College updated our vaccination policies to require that students, faculty, and staff receive a COVID-19 booster shot by Jan. 24, 2022, or within 30 days of becoming eligible. Please review the employee policy here.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Submission Form has been updated for employees to submit proof of their booster vaccination. Please complete this form as soon as possible and no later than Jan. 24.
