A visitor is defined as any individual on the Skidmore campus who is not a Skidmore College student, faculty, or staff member. General visitors include individuals on campus for tours, exhibits, events, etc.; athletics spectators; visitors from other colleges; retirees; and any other non-student or non-employee community member. Visitors to offices and workspaces include vendors, contractors, speakers, job candidates, admissions recruits, and other third parties.
We hope you will feel comfortable coming to our campus, as we require all faculty, staff, and students to be vaccinated unless an individual accommodation has been made. All visitors to campus are required to be fully vaccinated, including booster. Departments, programs, or offices may request proof of vaccination.
Effective Saturday, June 18, Skidmore is lifting the mandatory indoor masking requirement on campus, as the CDC has adjusted Saratoga County’s COVID-19 Community Level to “Low."
Access to campus, buildings, and facilities
Visitors are currently allowed on campus. However, their ability to participate in events, go indoors, attend gatherings, and more can change. For hours and availability of our various public facilities, it is best to contact those places directly (i.e. the Tang Museum, Scribner Library, Skidmore Athletics, The Surrey-Williamson Inn) as they may evolve.
