CEPP GSLD Subcommittee, 2026–2027
We are charged by CEPP to review Skidmore’s Goals for Student Learning & Development (GSLD) and provide CEPP with revised GSLD by the end of the academic year for subsequent review by IPPC and endorsement by the faculty in fall 2027. The GSLD should identify the small set of institutional learning goals describing the capacities (knowledge, skills, competencies, dispositions, and proficiencies) we expect all students to develop as a result of their overall Skidmore educational experience, consistent with our institutional mission. The GSLD provide the organizing framework for the more specific learning outcomes of the general education curriculum, academic degree programs (majors and minors), and co-curricular experiences.
