Marion E. Decker
Marion E. Decker, a former Skidmore housekeeper, died March 3, 2014, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Facility in Argyle, N.Y. She was 98.
Born August 30, 1915, in Schuylerville, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eunice Goodale Eddy. Marion joined the Skidmore staff as a housekeeper in 1960 and retired from housekeeping in 1981. Off campus, she was a member of Old Saratoga Post #278 Ladies Auxiliary, the Old Saratoga Seniors and the Schuylerville United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed crocheting and bowling.
Marion was predeceased by husband Lloyd Decker, son William Decker, sister Helen Eddy Germaine, and brother Donald Eddy. Her survivors include son Glenn (Rose) Decker of Schuylerville, four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews
