Theresa Sullivan
Theresa Sullivan, who served Skidmore as kitchen/dining room assistant from 1974 until her retirement in 1989, died Aug. 29, 2021. She was 92.
Colleagues described Theresa as a diligent employee who was committed to her work at Skidmore.
“Theresa was always came to work regardless of the weather outside and was always a pleasure to be around,” recalled Supervisor of Dining Services Jamie Cherry.
Born Feb. 28, 1929, in Passaic, New Jersey, she graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 1949.
Theresa is survived by her daughter Patti Turner (George); grandchildren Jessica Diehl (Pat), Sarah Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, Emily Vincent (Mike), Jennifer McCarthy (Edward), Shannon Henderson (Dan), Rellie Roberts (Travis), Ryan Sellar (Doug), Kimberly Sullivan, George Turner (Tara), Thoman Turner, and William Turner (Heather); 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her daughters-in-law Susan Sullivan and Kathy Cummings.
