Travel Seminars

TX 201-202 IA Faculty-Led Travel Seminar

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one corner of the earth all one's lifetime." Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad (1869) Chapter LXII

The International Affairs Program at Skidmore College offers majors, minors, and interested students the opportunity to engage in a focused travel experience that combines study of a region before traveling there and reflection upon return. Destinations vary each year.
