Schick Art Gallery presents its 2024 Skidmore Art Faculty Exhibition, ‘BIG MIX’

September 9, 2024

The Schick Art Gallery presents “BIG MIX,” an exhibition of work in printmaking, painting, ceramics, photography, drawing, graphic design, and video by members of the 2024 Skidmore art faculty.

Art faculty exhibitions in recent years have focused on three or four faculty members, but this year, all faculty were invited to show their work. The exhibition features art from 16 of the 21 full- and part-time faculty.

The exhibition will run from Sept. 12 through Oct. 6 in Schick Art Gallery, on the second floor of Saisselin Art Building. An opening reception will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, and an artists’ talk is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Schick Art Gallery viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

The exhibition features work from faculty members Lindsay Buchman, Gabriella Carboni, Ruben Castillo, Melody Ellis, Sophia Goodpasture, Samantha Haedrich, Andrew Ina, Fabian Lopez, Alyssa Sakina Mumtaz, Robert ParkeHarrison, Boryana Rusenova-Ina, Paul Sattler, Sarah Sweeney, Michael VanWinkle, Joanne Vella, and Emily Vallee Westfall.

All Schick Art Gallery exhibitions and events are free and open to the public; visit the Schick Art Gallery website to learn more.
