Lia Ball, associate professor of chemistry, and Sophia Liras ’28, Ace Snyder ’28, and Izzy Streeper ’28 presented posters at the first Northeast Regional Disordered Proteins Workshop in Syracuse, New York, on Sept. 17.
Joe Ballard, assistant teaching professor of economics, co-authored “Dynamic Coordination with Switching Costs” in Games and Economic Behavior.
Kathryn Baustian, assistant professor of anthropology, published “Differential Preservation of Entombments from Historic Wall Vaults at Cypress Grove Cemetery #1, New Orleans, LA” in the Journal of Archaeological Science: Reports. Co-authors include Alex Garcia-Putnam ’11 and Aimee Holland ’25.
Sarah DiPasquale, professor and chair of dance, co-authored “Dancing Apart, Growing Together: A Virtual Dance Program for Student Teachers and Older Adults” in the Journal of Dance Education with Skidmore dance alumni Caitlin Koto ’22 and Lilah Duboff ’23.
Kimberley Frederick, professor of chemistry and Charles Lubin Family Chair for Women in Science, and collaborators published “The μCURE Project: Lessons Learned from Developing a Networked CURE in Analytical Chemistry” in the American Chemical Society volume “CUREs across the Chemistry Disciplines: Engaging Undergraduates in Research-Based Learning.”
Duncan Keller, visiting assistant professor of geosciences, published “Fractionation of Alkali Feldspar: On Making High Ga/Al Granite” in International Geology Review.
Mohammad Asif Hasan Khan, visiting assistant professor of economics, published “Evidence on Information, Access Frictions, and Experience in Public Healthcare Use in Rural Bangladesh: A Cluster-Randomized Field Experiment” in Health Policy and Planning.
Brooke Paradise, associate dean of student affairs for inclusion and engagement, has been appointed communications coordinator for the NASPA Region II Executive Advisory Board for a two-year term. In this role, Paradise will support the region’s strategic communications, engagement, and outreach efforts across its professional network.
