MyOCSE portal = your go-to hub
Log in to MyOCSE regularly to:
- Complete required forms
- Review policies you’ve already agreed to
- Read important pre-departure information
We’ll also send weekly pre-departure emails starting after the in-person orientation
— November for spring programs, April for fall. If you’ve given us permission to contact your parent/guardian, they’ll receive a
version tailored to them.
Immediate next steps:
1. Apply directly to your program
Approval from Skidmore does not automatically enroll you in your program. You must apply directly to your off-campus
program by the provider’s deadline. Most programs require an official transcript,
which can be requested through the Registrar’s Office. Do not delay — some programs
fill quickly or have additional requirements.
2. Confirm your participation with OCSE
Even if you have not yet received your official program acceptance, you must confirm
your plans with OCSE.
Submit the following:
- $500 non-refundable deposit
-
- Complete required digital forms in MyOCSE
-
- Acceptance of Offer
- Student Agreement & Release
- Parent/Guardan Acknowledgement Form
-
- Submitted to OCSE by email or mail
Deadlines:
- Spring programs: November 1
- Fall/academic year programs: April 1
Your spot cannot be confirmed and OCSE cannot submit your program deposit until all
required items have been received.
Maintaining your eligiblilty
Only students in good academic, financial, and social standing are eligible to study
off campus. Participation in an off-campus study program is contingent upon maintaining
a good academic, financial, and social standing at Skidmore College. If your cumulative
GPA falls below a 2.75 or if your social standing changes dramatically, OCSE reserves
the right to withdraw you from your program.
