Welcome to Camp Northwoods, Skidmore’s summer day camp for children entering grades 1 through 6.  The program, led by Director Peter Carner, draws on the rich and varied resources of Skidmore College and the surrounding area. The camp's home base is Falstaff's Pavilion on the Skidmore College campus, but campers frequent the Williamson Sports Center,  Schick Art Gallery, Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery, Zankel Music Center and Skidmore’s North Woods.

Daily enrichment activities are led by the qualified staff and supplemented with weekly field trips to recreational and historical sites and visits by special guests. Children also enjoy activities that include recreation, arts and crafts, nature, games, journaling, hiking and daily swim time. Our goal is to provide a variety of fun activities that happily challenge the imagination, intellect and body.

Campers must be entering first grade and be 6 years old by December 1, 2022. A pilot session for children in grades 7 and 8 is being explored for the 2022 camp season.
