How we can help

  • Financial education: Understanding your financial aid package and options, including grants, loans, and work-study.
  • Applying or re-applying for your financial aid: Guidance for completing your FAFSA or CSS Profile, applying for subsidized and unsubsidized loans, and more.
  • Ongoing support: Ensuring students and families are confident in their financial plans, even if circumstances change.
Executive orders on federal funds: If you’ve seen news about federal executive orders, you may be wondering how they could affect your financial aid. At this time, federal loans, grants, and work-study funds awarded to individual students remain unchanged. Skidmore continues to monitor developments closely and will share updates if anything changes. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns about your financial aid package, we’re here to help.

Returning students

Aid recipients must re-apply annually. Students can expect to receive a similar level of grant if the family's financial circumstances remain similar, and if re-application is on-time. Our Resource Center is a great place to find answers to any questions you may have about your aid.
