Enrolled First-Year Students with Financial Aid Awards - WELCOME TO SKIDMORE COLLEGE!
Once you have ENROLLED at Skidmore College the following documents are required to complete your financial aid application.
DUE DATE for enrolled students: May 22, 2023
CREATE YOUR Skidmore Student System USER ACCOUNT - This will enable you to log into the student system and check the status of financial
aid documents. You will also be able to accept, decline or reduce the amount of your
loans. (NOTE: This link does not currently work with IE11)

| Parents' 2021 Federal Income Tax Return and W-2's |
Did you successfully transfer your income data from the IRS to the 2023-2024 FAFSA? Yes - taxes do not need to be submitted, just your 2021 W-2 form (unless specifically requested by the financial aid office) No - please submit a signed, dated, legible copy of your 2021 Federal Tax Return, including pages 1 & 2, Schedules 1, 2, 3 and, if applicable, Schedules C and SE with all W-2's. For identification purposes, write your name and ID number at the top of the first page. If you do not have a copy, you may obtain one by contacting the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. |

| Non-Custodial Parent 2021 Federal Income Tax Return and W-2's (if applicable) |
Submit a, signed, dated, legible copy of your Non-Custodial parent(s)' 2021 Federal Tax Return, including Schedules C and SE and all W-2s. For identification purposes, write the student's name at the top of the first page. If your parent does not have a copy, s/he may obtain one by contacting the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. |
| Federal Direct Student Loans |
Once you have received your email login for Skidmore College, you will need to login in to the Skidmore Student System to accept, decline or reduce your Federal Direct Loans. When borrowing funds from the Direct Student Loan program you MUST complete both of the following documents online: PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE THE ENTRANCE COUNSELING AND MASTER PROMMISORY NOTE UNTIL AFTER JUNE 1st, 2023. The Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note status will be updated in the Skidmore Student System at the end of June. |
