Welcome to the Financial Aid Office
Nearly half of Skidmore's students receive some form of financial aid. Most of the financial assistance at Skidmore is awarded on the basis of demonstrated need and is provided through a student-aid "package" that usually includes a grant, a campus job, and a loan. Student aid funds come from a variety of sources, including Skidmore's own need-based grants and scholarships, as well as federal, state, and independent programs.
Especially if you are experiencing financial pressures due to an illness, loss of employment or some significant family issue, we encourage you to use the resources of the Financial Aid Office. We are available to assist you in person on a walk-in basis, or contact us for an appointment at 518-580-5750 and/or finaid@skidmore.edu.
