For recent admission cycles, we have the following data for admission to medical schools, veterinary medicine programs, and dental schools. It is important to note, HPAC supports all students who apply.
Overall, 84% of the Skidmore students who applied to medical schools, veterinary medicine programs, or dental schools got into at least one program they applied to (on the first attempt, it was 61%). For those accepted, the mean Skidmore GPA was 3.59 and the median was 3.63 with a standard deviation of 0.26.
- For Medical schools in particular: 82% of Skidmore students who applied were accepted
to at least one program (62% on their first attempt). Of those accepted to at least
one program:
- Mean Skidmore GPA 3.62, median GPA 3.66, standard deviation of 0.26, with a range of 2.85-4.0
