Registrar’s Office Privacy Policy

The Skidmore College Registrar’s Office is committed to protecting the privacy of all current and former students. Information collected for transcript requests or other office-related functions is used solely for the purposes of identification and the completion of your orders. All information you provide to us electronically is kept confidential, and in keeping with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), will not be divulged to external parties without your consent. We will never sell any information pertaining to your records to a third party.

Encryption is used for the transfer of data, and we do not store credit card information in our files. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We urge you to take all practical and reasonable precautions.
