Arthur Zankel Music Center offers the artistic caliber and range of a leading performance venue in an intimate, mission-driven setting on the Skidmore College campus in Saratoga Springs, New York.
The 54,000-square-foot center includes two performance venues, rehearsal and recording spaces, classrooms, music laboratories, and a glass atrium where audiences and artists cross paths.
Zankel is also home to Skidmore’s Music Department and programs including the Skidmore Jazz Institute. Students perform alongside visiting artists and gain practical experience in recording, sound, lighting, livestreaming, stage management, marketing, ticketing, and audience services.
Arthur Zankel was a Skidmore College trustee, parent, philanthropist, and longtime supporter of the arts and education. His contributions to Skidmore supported scholarships, academic programs, and opportunities that connected learning with public life. The center bearing his name carries that spirit forward by opening exceptional musical experiences to the College and the wider region.
